The seminar for teachers was supported by The national education institute of the Republic of Slovenia.

The aim of the seminar was to introduce animal welfare subjects in primary and secondary schools and to raise awarness about animal welfare issues. The speakers at the seminar were from Zootechnical Department at Biotechnical faculty and from the two NGOs: The Slovenian association for bat research and conservation - SDPVN and Marine mammal research and conservation society - Morigenos. Seminar was attended also by RSPCA representative.
